WHO ARE WE?
Since 2000 Valley Park Radios dedicated volunteers has been committed to providing entertainment to DVH patients, staff & visitors, plus now ONLINE at VALLEYPARKRADIO.ORG.UK to the on line WORLD, including Dartford & surrounding areas. We are also self funding. Having events like our BIG Quiz Night, Raffles, Stalls at Dartford and Stone festivals, plus some town centers. We also support the Valley hospital charities in raising monies for the hospital.
We are always on the look out for would be volunteers to help out at the station from doing meeting minutes to radio presenting and more. Just a few hours every week, sometimes more if we put on an event. Get in contact with your details at studio@valleyparkradio.org.uk, NOW!

We provide music 24 hours a day and our volunteers give you LIVE shows throughout the week, with great chat while playing your request or giving shout-outs to patients here at DVH, staff family, and friends.
Including celebrations like birthdays, weddings, anniversary. Anything really. The rest of the time our auto DJ Myriad takes over. We broadcast online also to Dartford and the surrounding areas at valleyparkradio.org.uk.

We here at Valley Park Radio are saddened to share the news that Peter Hammond, one of our long-standing Valley Park Radio volunteers, sadly passed away unexpectedly on Sunday 3rd September 2023.
Peter had been a volunteer for Hospital Radio for over 40 years. He was at Joyce Green Hospital until September 2000 when Darent Valley Hospital opened and he came here with Valley Park Radio. Peter was at the Hospital every Tuesday evening broadcasting to the wards, and more recently on Sunday evenings. He loved his music and opportunities to interview music stars such as Kiki Dee (photo).
Our thoughts are with his family, friends, his colleagues in VPR, and those who knew him. Thank You
